Our Nurse Practitioners are Registered Nurses with advanced university education who can assess, diagnose and treat patients within a defined scope of practice. Working together with your family physician, Nurse Practitioners may perform annual physical exams, write prescriptions and order tests.

Our Psychometrist administers, scores and interprets psychological tests and provides detailed reports to determine possible diagnoses of AD/HD, learning disabilities, mood difficulties, sensory issues and personality disturbances. Our Psychometrist also provides counseling services, assists in connecting patients to community supports, and provides short-term interventions and other types of psychotherapy.

Our Mental Health Workers offer counseling support to assist you in addressing issues that may be affecting your quality of life. Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mental Health Workers can help you recognize and manage emotional problems. Issues addressed include: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Parenting Support and Grief counseling.

Our Clinical Pharmacist provides medication counseling and education to patients. The Pharmacist is able to help you understand your medications and work with you to ensure your medications are taken correctly to reduce adverse effects while improving outcomes, compliance and safety. The Pharmacist may also work closely with other healthcare professionals to determine which medications are best for you.

Our Dietitian assists you in addressing your nutrition needs and develops an individualized plan that will help you manage your dietary requirements. The Dietitian can provide nutritional counseling for patients with specific medical conditions including: diabetes, high cholesterol and digestive issues.

Health Educators can assist you in achieving a healthier quality of life through education on smoking cessation, physical activity, stress management and lifestyle modification through individual or group consultations as well as assist in connecting you with community resources.

Our Speech Language Pathologist is involved in a number of different activities to promote effective communication and swallowing for children and adults. These activities may include assessing communication disorders; planning and implementing treatment in language, speech, voice and/or swallowing disorders; designing and employing augmentative/alternative communication systems; as well as facilitating accent reduction.
